About us
Our congregation was born from a shared desire to build a strong community. This vision aligns with the Terumah portion in the book of Exodus, where the Lord commanded the children of Israel: “Then they will make me a sanctuary, so that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8). Mikdash Messianic Congregation reflects this beautiful idea of building together, where the presence of the Lord resides among us through our collective efforts.
We Are
A vibrant, multicultural, and multiethnic family of believers, united in faith in the God of Israel, committed to making disciples of Yeshua (Jesus) as we live out the Word of God together as a community.
Community Life
Community is very important to the members of Mikdash Messianic Congregation. We live every stage and aspect of it around the practice of biblical principles in the freedom of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), while caring for and inspiring each other in our spiritual walk.
Our Doctrine
GOD
We believe that God is the Creator of all things, almighty, omniscient, eternal, just, and holy. He cares about the affairs of humanity and has set out to redeem the world.
MESSIAH
We believe that Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah, is the Son of God, of both divine and human nature. He was born of Mary and conceived by the Holy Spirit of God. He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice—the only way to reconcile humanity to God.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) of God is present to convict the world of sin and to regenerate the lives of believers through the process of sanctification. Through His Spirit God enables believers to live holy and righteous lives by following the commandments expressed in the Torah.
THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God— inerrant, complete, and infallible. The best way to live, experience, and understand it is in community. A solid understanding of the Torah (the first five books of the Bible) allows us to better understand the rest of the Holy Scriptures. We believe in observing the Sabbath—God's holy day of rest—as well as the rest of the commandments and biblical festivals, not as a means of salvation but as an expression of our love for God. As Yeshua declared: “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).
SALVATION AND REDEMPTION
We believe that God’s creation was perfect in the beginning, but humanity chose to follow its own ways. Therefore, God provided a way of redemption and salvation to reconcile the world to Himself.
THE CONGREGATION
We believe that Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) is the head of the Kahal (Ecclesia), which is made up of local congregations of Jewish and Gentile believers worldwide. The purpose of the congregation is to make disciples by teaching them to live the Word of God in community. We are convinced that community life is one of the most important aspects of the spiritual journey of every believer. We welcome all who join us—Jews and Gentiles alike—to serve the God of Israel together.
