The biblical name for Rosh HaShanah is Yom Teruah, which means "the day of the awakening blast." It is observed on the first day of the seventh month (Tishrei). G-d gave us this day to teach us about the resurrection of the dead, the coronation of the Messiah, the wedding of the Messiah, and much more!

YOM KIPPUR

The biblical name for the day of Atonement is Yom HaKippurim, meaning "the day of covering, canceling, pardon, reconciling." The Lord told the Israelites to sacrifice an animal as a substitute for their sentence to die. Yeshua died on the tree as a substitute for us, who deserved death because we sinned against Him.
