Baby Dedication
The Bible includes two child dedication stories -- the dedication of Samuel in 1 Samuel 1:9-28, and the dedication of Yeshua in Luke 2:21-40.
Even when the Torah instructs us about the dedication of the FIRST BORN (Exodus 13:2), we find in Mark 10:13-16 that parents brought their children to Yeshua for a blessing.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah
The Bar/Bat Mitzvah marks the spiritual and personal transition from childhood to maturity. Although not directly mentioned in the Torah, it reflects the divine command that each person must learn and live by God’s commandments. Scripture teaches that everyone is accountable for their own actions, and this responsibility begins when one reaches the age of maturity—typically puberty—when a person can bear responsibility for their choices. Through this period of learning and growth, the young person prepares to be publicly recognized as a mature follower of God, responsible for their own spiritual life.

Weddings
A Messianic wedding is a sacred celebration that unites a man and a woman under God’s covenant, blending the beauty of Jewish tradition with faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. The ceremony often includes elements such as the signing of the ketubah (marriage covenant), the exchange of vows under the chuppah (wedding canopy), the sharing of wine, and the breaking of the glass—symbolizing joy, covenant, and remembrance. It reflects the prophetic picture of Messiah’s love for His Bride, the community of believers, and celebrates the couple’s commitment to walk together in faith, love, and holiness before God.

FUNERALS
A Messianic funeral is a solemn yet hope-filled ceremony that honors the life of the departed while affirming faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah and the promise of resurrection. It blends Jewish customs—such as prayers, psalms, and remembrance—with the Messianic belief in eternal life through Messiah. The service focuses on comforting the bereaved, celebrating the person’s life and faith, and expressing hope in God’s redemption and the future resurrection of the righteous.
